Vedder Shareholders Eddie Gross, Arlene Gelman and Kevin MacLeod will present at the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA) Legal Forum on May 4. The ELFA program will deliver timely analysis of the regulatory, transactional, litigation and compliance issues shaping the equipment leasing and finance industry.
Arlene will speak during the “Legal Update, Part 1” as part of the general session on May 4. Kevin will analyze and explore the differentials between syndication and securitization and how it impacts the day-to-day practice of law in equipment finance during the breakout session, “Syndications: Collateral to Securitization.”
Eddie will present three sessions during the conference. First, he will be part of the session, “Implementing and Using e-Signatures & e-Documents in the Real World” to discuss how e-signatures and e-Documents are being operationally implemented and used in the industry. Then he will moderate the session, “Advanced UCC,” to share his perspective regarding various UCC EF-implicated topics. Finally, he will join the panel, “An Overview on Bundled Equipment Solutions/Hybrid Leases” to present an overview on bundled equipment solutions (aka MES, hybrid deals and bundled deals).
