The General Equipment Leasing team is recognized as the leader in equipment finance, trusted by the industry’s largest participants for supporting transactions of every scale and complexity. Clients rely on us because we understand their businesses, the markets they operate in, and the expectations of their management and customers. Our team is known for its market-driven approach, depth of transactional experience, and ability to deliver clear, practical solutions in fast-moving environments.

We have assisted clients with a full spectrum of equipment leases and financings, borrowing facilities and capital markets transactions. The sophistication and complexity of these transactions range from straightforward leases and acquisition financings and refinancings to highly structured transactions including project financings, tax-favorable leases and bundled financings. Our experience with borrowing facilities and capital markets transactions have included warehouse facilities, forward-flow and side car arrangements, vendor programs, portfolio acquisitions, syndications, securitizations and servicing arrangements.

The financed assets have included all types of capital equipment, including manufacturing and production facilities, construction and drilling equipment, mining and energy infrastructure, medical and health-related facilities, high technology and telecommunications equipment, and logistics and transportation fleets.  Certain of the transactions, including the bundled and project financings, have involved a financing of equipment, as well as related aspects regarding software, services, consumables, real estate, warrants, or other related property or interests.

The Equipment Finance team is a part of Vedder Global Transportation Finance group, which includes more than 70 lawyers across the United States, London, and Singapore.
