Rachel Trouba is an Associate in Vedder’s Litigation practice area and a member of the firm’s Government Investigations and White Collar defense team.
Rachel represents a wide-range of clients in complex commercial disputes, securities litigation, government investigations and actions, and white-collar matters. She counsels clients through high-stakes litigation and investigations, defending clients in proceedings before the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, PCAOB, and FINRA, involving allegations of fraud, insider trading, and tariff violations, among others.
Rachel manages all phases of complex litigation, from discovery and motion practice to trial preparation, focusing on outcomes that protect her clients’ business interests and minimize risk. She also advises on internal investigations and compliance matters, helping clients navigate regulatory scrutiny efficiently and effectively.
In addition to her commercial practice, Rachel maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in family and immigration court matters, providing practical advocacy that advances meaningful results.
Rachel received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. While in law school, she served as an associate editor of the Journal of Law Reform.
