Philip Tankovich is a member of the Government Investigations & White Collar Defense group, representing individuals and companies in high-stakes federal investigations and complex litigation.

He helps clients navigate government scrutiny, manage risk, and achieve practical outcomes while protecting their business and reputational interests. Philip draws on his experience as a former federal prosecutor and federal law clerk to pursue litigation by anticipating the opposing party’s arguments and effectively convincing the court of his client’s position.

Philip has successfully tried multiple cases to verdict as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, has led investigations with federal law enforcement agencies, and has trained personnel in evidence-gathering and trial strategy. He now uses this insider perspective to guide clients through investigations by the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO), Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and other federal law enforcement agencies, providing actionable advice and efficient, results-driven representation.

Philip also has robust experience with Presidential Pardons.
