Gymmel Trembly is a member of the Labor and Employment group, advising private and public employers on strategic workforce and employment matters. She represents clients in litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims, and helps employers resolve disputes efficiently while protecting organizational interests.

Gymmel guides California employers through federal, state, and local employment laws, advising on employee discipline, accommodations, and union matters including collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and unfair labor practice charges. She conducts workplace training, participates in industry seminars, and provides tailored guidance, including to predominantly Spanish-speaking workforces.

Outside her practice, Gymmel leads community initiatives as Board Chair of the Sonoma County Secure Families Collaborative, supporting free legal defense and social services for immigrant families.

  • Guided restaurant client through a proactive audit of meal and rest break practices to eliminate exposure to high-stakes wage and hour class action lawsuit.
  • Served as second chair in collective bargaining negotiations with over two dozen bargaining units for a large public sector client.
  • Secured a favorable settlement in a private-sector termination grievance, mitigating significant litigation risks and capping potential exposure at $50,000 below projected damage value.
