Guy E. Snyder

Guy Snyder is a business lawyer and certified public accountant. He serves as outside general counsel to middle-market and upper middle-market companies, including foreign-based multinationals with operations in the U.S. and abroad as well as private equity funds.

With a focus on transactions, Guy strategically guides clients through mergers and acquisitions, financings, as well as general business matters. He is particularly known for his merger and acquisition work in the food and nutritional supplement space, as well as guiding successful entrepreneurs through generational and family office planning.

Experience

• Negotiated the sale of a family business following the founder’s death. Upon interviewing multiple investment banks, gathering good market intelligence, and implementing some changes with the management team, the company sold for over $100M vs. the valuation range of approximately $40M.
• Aided a client in selling its company that had significant products liability exposure. The client's European parent had excess liability coverage. After coordinating with the parent to provide an indemnity structure, the sale was able to be successfully completed.
• Represented an Irish company on over $1.5B acquisitions of nutritional product businesses in the United States.
• Advised a family business on its successful sale for over $700M.
• Serves as Trustee for client’s trusts and also serves on family office and other boards.
