Gregory Wrobel helps clients navigate complex antitrust challenges in court, at the deal table and before federal enforcement agencies.

In more than four decades of antitrust practice, Greg has handled litigation, counseling, compliance and transactional work for a wide array of clients from business entities and trade associations to private equity funds. He advises on significant issues in mergers and acquisitions, including Hart-Scott-Rodino Act premerger notification requirements and overall risk assessment.

In litigation, he represents clients in high-stakes class actions and commercial cases. He also advises on trade secrets and restrictive covenants. Greg has a particular focus on issues involving the health care industry.

Greg’s clients appreciate his broad perspective and commitment to efficiency in handling antitrust matters. His knowledge enables them to move forward in key business arrangements without undue delay.

  • Defended a poultry producer in a major ongoing multidistrict antitrust case: Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation Civil Action No. 1:16-cv-08637 (N.D. Ill., 2016–present).
  • Defended a producer client in ongoing antitrust litigation: Turkey Antitrust Litigation, Civil Action No. 1:19-cv-08318 (N.D. Ill., 2019–present).
  • Defended a real estate brokerage in an antitrust suit: QJ Teams v. Texas Association of Realtors, et al. Civil No. 4:23-CV-1013-SDJ (E.D. Tex., 2023–present).
