Ben El-Gamal

Ben El-Gamal advises clients on complex asset finance transactions, with a focus on the aviation sector.

He represents lessors, lenders, and airlines in the sale, purchase, leasing, and refinancing of aircraft, as well as large portfolio transactions. 

Ben’s approach is pragmatic and results-driven—he works to structure deals that protect client interests while advancing commercial goals. His experience includes supporting financiers and guiding lessors on cross-border aircraft deals and international airlines through sale-and-leaseback transactions.  

As part of Vedder’s Global Transportation Finance team, Ben helps clients navigate the commercial and operational challenges of global aviation finance with clarity and efficiency.

• Represented Macquarie AirFinance in the transaction awarded Best MEA Deal of 2023 for the acquisition and financing of over 50 aircraft from ALAFCO Aviation Lease and Finance Company K.S.C.P.
